Team Nauti- Monday
« on: November 16, 2009, 06:05:45 PM »
Took advantage of the day and had Cock Robin mate Officer Andrew with me.

After heading east to the 3 mile mark and catching SUPER SIZED BLUEFISH under screaming gulls we ran to the beach and took a two man limit.

Took us a while to get the right sized BASS to bite as we continued to lose focus chasing phantom fish under birds rather than sticking to the drift and trusting the instruments...Lesson learned, again....

Had the pleasure of sharing the water with our own Capt Joe of the Irish Ayes for the better part of the day.

I did break off a legit 30lb bass at the boat on our SECOND try of landing....still not sure how that happened....Andrew....

Nice report and catch Bill and Andrew.  t^

Thanks for the intel today Bill. We were into fish most of the day, just couldn't put any bass in the box.

I'll tell you, I was getting frustrated at myself until those last two spots ('specially since the broke off fish was EARLY in the day)....sheesh, today was work!!
