Raritan Bay 11/18 Stripers
« on: November 18, 2009, 04:09:57 PM »
Left the dock at 5:30 with a friend from work.  Went looking for bird life while getting knocked around with the 3 to 5 footers followed by the spray from the stiff N/E wind.  Birds were active early and we bailed 4 keepers before 8:00 with plenty of shorts mixed in.  All bass.  Bite slowed a bit and went down the beach to jig up more bass and many gators.  1 more keeper boated,  Went back north to the first spot and couldn't find any life.  Outgoing tide turned the water really dirty.

Does anyone know of someone that does custom canvas enclosures with the plastic windows for center consoles?  Could have really used one today.

How about a heated cabin and a coffee maker too! Hike up your skirt and get back out there.

Oh, nice job on the bass today!
