Out today with Kirk, Danny and Dave for a shot at the blackfish. Today's trip could best be described as 4 monkeys #@$%^&^ a basketballll!!! Started at the SG reef and immediately put 2 keepers in the livewell - everything is good right. Moved to find better real estate and just could not get on the pieces. One anchor, two anchors, grapple - it didn't matter we were always 20 feet north, south, east or west of the piece. We even jumped on a buddies hook after he caught his limit and we still couldn't buy a fish. Fished from 7 until 2:30 and had 2 keepers and 3 shorts. We threw the 2 keepers back at the end of the day out of shame. Worst part is it was still better than going to work. God Bless Our Troops.
