Fishing on the brand new 44' Hereques Main Coaster Sophia-K
« on: December 17, 2009, 09:26:51 AM »
Tues, I went down to Barnagate for an all out drop and reel trip with a great crew of 8 guys. Aboard the sweetest boat Ive ever laid eyes on!  cfzd Paul, Tedd, Micky, Rob, Henry, Jay, Capt. Harry, and myself. We had a limit by noon with fish to #8. The tide slacked up, Made a move and it was on again!! Culling fish most of the day we ended up with a very respectable limit of fish 3# and up. clp Big Thanks to Capt. Harry and Jayson hope to see ya in Morehead City over the holidays! slt

Well we did it again yesterday...My left shoulder is tired and sore from all the swinging this week. Not the numbers we had on Tuesday, but we did limit+ the boat again, keeping our legal limit of 54 fish between 9 guys.

That boat is a Henriques?  Was it a custom job?  Never saw one even remotely close to looking like that boat!  Looks like a beast!!!

Yea that sure is a nice looking rig ;D   Capt J Mick of the Evelyn Ann out of AC had them custom  35 main coaster for charters in 1994. Capt Adam of the Karen Ann II  also runs a 35  MC built for charters. They are both some of the best laid out bottom fishing boats I have ever been on. This 44 looks just plain old amazing clp.
