Welcome Aboard BK,  I see your into the surf, as I am.  Where do youusually drive your spikes?  I usually hang out on IBSP and have had some real great fishing there.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and by all means jump right in and post away when something is of interest to you.

You usually can find me on the beach on the weekdays and not to ofter on the weekends as it is too crowded for me.  I live in Toms River so I can hop on anytime.  If you need any weather reports just send me a PM or ask online and I should be able to take a look at my weather rock outside the window.

Again Welcome Aboard.

Happy Catching

I found this wonderful place while googling for surf fishing tips.  My parents live in a retirement community in Tom's River, and I wanted info on Seaside, ISBP, and A.C. fishing.  In fact Catfish Hunter was the first to welcome me and offer pointers! (TY CH!)
I got back into fishing last spring now that my daughter is a little older (12 going on 17yo!). I live in Queens NY and fish mostly Long Beach, NY(well I haven't caught a striper yet).  Still getting my gear together, and trying to learn as much as possible! I'm a peace officer working out of the NYS Supreme Court in Felony Arraignments.  Hope to meet you guys on the beach soon!
Jeff
One day I'll have a photo of me and my 1st Striper up instead of this cat.

Hi irenegade, I also live in Toms River and my home turf so to speak is IBSP.  My daughter grew up on the beach and to this day still loves to go fishing with me when ever her schedule allows (she is 19).  :P

I have been in TR since '65 and was Deputy Coordinator of Emergency Management for a number of those years.  I am sure by now you have noticed that there are a number of officers both retired and still on the job on the site.

If you are down give a shout on the cell phone as I carry it all the time the number is in the contact section of the site.  During the summer I can be found out on the beach during the weekday as it is to crowded on weekends during the height of the season.  My wife loves it out there as well so the only time I venture out on the weekend is when she wants to go for a dip.

Happy Catching
