upant, did you find the image of a rig you are looking for?

it was a  general search for anything new

i saw one that was interesting

line terminated with a sinker and the circle hook was attached to a leader which was attached to the main line by a snap-on swivel. the live bait is able to swim up and down the line.

anyone use this kind of rig?

upant, that is a good question.  I do not know if anyone in your area, uses the rig your talking about.  However, please create a 'New Post' here  (BUTTON on right side):  http://njsaltwaterfisherman.com/forums/index.php?board=21.0

upant, I believe you will get more responses in the Helping Each Other Out Section, by asking your question there.

I look forward to reading your results.

Hope this helps.  Questions?

I was doing a GOOGLE search.
I looked at this site many times and I think I like what I see.

Caution I do have a habit of going off on subjects of taxes and government.

I recently moved back to Jersey from bronx, ny.
I was looking for some resources to get a little bit of knowledge about saltwater fishing.
I have limited experience, fished about 10 times out of city island Bronx NY out of a party boat last season.  I found the site doing some Google searches and after reading a few other sites, this one seemed the most inviting and where newbies like me probably won't get flamed.

I reside in Elizabeth, NJ and would like to learn about surf fishing / pier fishing etc...
any spots or tips would be most appreciated.
Tight lines fellas.  slt
