I am new to fishing the Atlantic having grown up in Hawaii. I was looking into the possibility of fishing here and had no idea the area was so fertile! Surfed the web and came up here and I feel very blessed to have stumbled upon you. Already read some wonderful postings about 'Reading the sand' things I never did as a kid in Hawaii. Bait, lures and the general openness of the readers make me feel that this is going to be a fun new chapter in my life. Mahalo Nui Loa for the outstanding job of the creators and to all the contributors to this insightful site. Happy fishing to all!

Aloha, to the limit...Nice to have you aboard.  Hawaii is one of my all time favorite places on earth.  We were out there about a year ago and stayed in Waimanalo  wad a place...choke wit papio at the time.

Where are you located as I am totally surf and whipping for the most part.  I am located in Toms river and about 2 miles from the beach.  My home beach here is IBSP and thanks for reading my article.

If you have any questions feel free to throw them out there.  Plus if you are interested on October 24 and 25 there will be there will be the National Casting Championships in Marlton NJ.  I am planning on going as there will be a contingent from Hawaii there.

Happy Catching

Paul

PS; BTW when in Hawaii were you on the HFF web site?  if so I am O'Salt on there.

Found you guys through a google search. Was looking for info on an antique lure, and figured a fishing forum would be a good place to ask for help. I lurked here for awhile reading some threads, and realized that that the members here are helpful and courteous, and the mods seem to do a great job. Add that to the fact that I've been fishing in NJ, both salt and freshwater for over 25 yrs, and it was a no brainer. Hope to make some friends and maybe a few new fishin buddies here. In the meantime, tight lines to ya.
