Googled it online.  New to saltwater fishing in NJ.  Grew up fishing in FL.  Looking forward to getting info and advice on NJ fishing.  slt

Where will you be fishing ans what kind, boat, surf or back bays?  The guys here are full of tons of information to make your fishing easier all you have to do is let us know some info and stand back and wait for the information that will put you on the fish.

No sure if it's appropriate but I'd like to get some recommendations for charters or party boats in NJ.  I'd like to do some striper fishing in the next month or two.

Also, researching some rod and reels.  Looking at the Avet MXL 5.8 MC reel (I'm a lefty too), and wondering if there are any rods to look out for that aren't compatible.  So far, looking at the Penn Carnage or Seeker jigging/bait rods.

Any recommendations?

I heard about this site from my friend IKAT. I have been viewing it as a guest for awhile and it seems that  everyone on THIS site seems to be very friendly in responses to each other. I hope I can supply some help to others  if possible and make some new friends!
