Had a Full boat today for flounder... Rich and Patty, Brian and His father, Matt and Capt Dutch Himself !!! Today was Capt Dutche's 50th Birthday!!!!
Headed Up the river and got setup on the incoming... water got cold Under 50... 20 min never got a sniff. Made a Move to the North side of the bay where we caught last week... No bites.
Came back to the River for the out going water... it warmed up and we caught a couple a soon as we stopped. Bounced around a few drops in the river and we picked one here one there... with little flurries... Got tough when the tide was ripping but when it slowed we picked up some more fish
Picked away until we had our 8 man Boat Limit... released about a dozen more for the day (shorts and keepers).
Not the fishing of last week but still more than enough to put a catch together, have a good time on the water, and take home a couple of fillets for dinner!!!
Matt started out with the hot rod but fizzled. Rich stayed steady... Patty and her team finished strong and as always she kept everyones stomachs full with her great food esp those garlic shrimp... Brians Dreaming of da stripers and his pops is def gonna let the flounder eat it when he gets a bite... they put a couple in the box. And Capt Dutch hasnt lost it a bit He had the hot hand with 9 flounders(Only taking a limit)... Learned alot working working with him in the past and it was a pleasure to be able to put him on some fish esp on his birthday!!!
