Tax day Stripers!!! 4/15

hit the squan inlet at 6:45 and headed north...way north...planned on hitting the rocks, but traveled further to the birds...started inshore a bit and moved out as the tide ran longer...A-47's were our ticket, but we saw guys using topwater gear and killing it too..  first line hit the water at 7:45ish and we limited by 9:00... catch and release after..but that gets old tossing back good keepers.. maybe 25 fish total  and only 2 were shorts!!!!..



Coast guard were out in force, checking for registration cards... make sure you have them!!! alot of people got boarded...

back at dock by 11am.. great day!!

also on a side note... does anyone know that guy with the rigged up waverunner who was striper fishing out there yesterday??... looks like he came from around the hook and south to the fleet... mounted a cooler with rod holders on the back of it and fish finder on the hood... i just want to know how big his balls are for doing that...
