04-15-2010 STRIPER REPORT
« on: April 15, 2010, 07:54:47 PM »
After ripping my GPS antenna off the boat on the phone lines while pulling out of the driveway - sorry neighbor 5hrug- I figured it was going to be a bad day to launch the sled. Anyway we fueled her up and dropped her in and headed off with a crew of Frank (aka Kingfish) and Captain Freddy Gamboa. We were greeted by flat calm seas and after a short run located some diving gannets and some bait. Dropped the jigs and within the first drift we had 3 keepers in the box with the small fish at 29" and the others in the 36-38" range. Threw a popper and caught the big fish of the day at an estimated 20# - which we released. Back to the dock with an 8.5 gallon fuel burn and about 2 hours total time - a great shake down trip. God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops! Pics and hopefully video to follow.

Good job Chris. t^ Except for the gps antenna thing. :P

I'd charge the neighbor for a new antenna for having his phone line in the path of your boat.  ;D
