First trip of the 2010 season
« on: April 24, 2010, 11:14:20 PM »
Headed out of Shark River around 1:30pm and headed to the rocks saw some bird life about a mile shy of the rocks stop for a minute but had no action cruised out to the outer can and started trolling in 50ft and headed south hooked up in the first 5 min with about an 8lb bluefish.Trolled some more at three and a half knots and caught to more blues before the first Bass was caught it was around 25 to 28 inches planned on releasing so didn't measure another blue than a bass at 16lbs in the boat and the box.Great start for my 7yr old landing his first Bass and headed back to the inlet around 3pm for tonight's 2 baseball games.Boat ran great fishing was great cant ask for much more for just going for a ride...All fish were caught in 50 to 60ft on stretch 30's and stretch intimadaters blue and chartruse and a gold one

Good going. Not a bad catch for such a short time out.  t^

Nice when the boat runs good and you catch fish the first time out.  chrz
