IBSP Cinco De Mayo Report
« on: May 06, 2010, 08:45:53 AM »
We hit the park for an evening trip again last night.
Fished from 6-8:30 with low tide being 7:30.  Wind was 10-15 out of the South.  Water was relatively calm with some seaweed.
Bait was stinky clams and bunker chunks.
The catching was slow and the cold south wind made it tough.  But we managed 1 bass at 30in on clam.  Only other action was one hit-n-miss and the usual skate.
The beach was pretty vacant.  The inlet has been the hot spot the past week, so there was a crowd there.  The only action I heard of was a 24lb bass on a pencil the Grumpys had weighed in.
