Roosters Fishing
« on: May 17, 2010, 07:13:25 PM »
Tom and I had the Roosters out around Sandy Hook looking for Striped Bass. Stopping at our favorite area off the Highlands Bridge in about 30' of water the recorder lit up with markings of bait and larger fish, with fish fining on the surface Tom landed a 30" striper using a 1½ oz. Hopkins. That was going to be it for the morning aside from a few Bluefish; those Stripers wouldn't take our lures.

Inside Sandy Hook Bay we found the Fluke at #1 Can where two commercial hook and liners were landing many Fluke. Pete

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
