Headed Out for an afternoon Striper Trip. Tony Cav, Tom O, Eric (In Pursuit), Stelly Ted and Paul From Texas rounded out the crew.
Heard the bait was scattered but fish were being caught on readings. Big Thanks to Capt Freddy we didnt have to worry about making bait as he gave us 30 pieces from his am Trip!!! Thanks again Man.
Was heading up to the bite but didnt make it. Stopped on Bird Play, scattered Bunks and good Reads and we started hooking Up pretty quick with Nice size bass. Bunch of Bites and a couple of fish every time we got on em. Like a Half dozen and was going to do another drift. we the fish staring pushing water to our south. They were moving quick but we had a couple good cracks with Mutiple hook ups.
Eric Got in a real Beauty at 40 Lbs 47 1/2 In which he quickly released after a pic. Tony also had a nice one in the 30s. Paul From Texas got what he was looking for a Nice 30 lber also Released. Guys were releasing the Bigger fish and only kept Gut hook and smaller fish.
Had a Little lull but then the birds and bass would pop up and we would Get a couple bites and nice fish. Fish Got Picky at times playing with the baits alot. But we picked away at nice fish all trip!!!
Stelly Hooked the last Fish of the night on Erics Bunker and it had another bass follow it so close to the boat that wayne free netted it. Both Fish Released a great way to end the night.
Between all the Guys we Boated 26 Nice Stripers up to 40 lbs... Kept a few for the box and let most of the rest go.
