Out with Danny, Kirk and my father for an afternoon shot at the bass. Making bait was hell today and after throwing the net too many times and only getting 3 or 4 bunker we broke down and starting snagging. We put about 20 baits in the well and went on a fruitless search. Managed 1 fish in the 20# class and had 1 or 2 other run offs. Saw very few fish caught and heard of a few more. I have to blame it on the moon cause it couldn't have been us. Thank you to all of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who are serving and have served - let us not forget what Memorial Day is really about!
