Had Eric Mauro's Charter Charter today aboard the Fish Monger For the First Time. Ryan From the old days at Reel Life, Vinny the needle, Plunger Mike, Curly Mike, and Mike Sr. Rounded out todays fun Crew.
Back to the grounds and finding life in some new places (that where void last week) the action started out Fast and Furious with nice size Keepers up to 2 1/2 Lbs. Bunch of double headers and Again today most of the seabass that were Keepers were bigger size. Went to another piece and it was the same adding another batch of nice Keepers.
Got 60 Keepers fast so we Thought we were fill up the boat quick but we got some current and it seemed to slow up the Bite a Bit. Would anchor and get a Blast but then it would slow up But nonetheless we picked away at keepers.
So we power drifted over a Bunch of Small pieces for the rest of the day. Picking the cream biscuits from the top.
Few Spots gave up 25 - 35 Fish others Just a few but again Most keepers were nice size. Hoped from piece to piece until the Box was Filled with the Guys 6 man Limit!!!
We also had some Cod with 1 Making it to the Box and a Bunch of Nice size Blackfish released for another Day.
Another Fine Day of Bottom fishing with Limit catches n loads of action!!!
By Days end the Guys Boxed up 150 Keeper Seabass (A 6 Man Limit) Up to 3 1/4 Lbs along with 1 Keeper Cod. Released a Bunch Of Blackfish and some Short Cod Fish.
Eric and Crew Were a Great, We all had a Lota Laughs. Fish on Eric!!! They had a Blast and are looking forward to their next Trips aboard the Fish Monger!!!
