Difference in fishing in the bay compared to the Surf?

How does the bay(barnegat) compare to the surf as far as types of fish able to be caught?

I know its probably the same but I was just curious..

OK is this question really that dumb or does no one want to answer it.. I figured the answer was the same fish but I wanted to ask the experts.. come on folks!

LOL.. same fish.. in the bay you can add blue claw crabs to the mix.

The barnegat bay is a massive ecosystem that contains pretty much the same species as the surf zone. The one exception might be the inshore pelagics that pop up infrequently in front in the fall (albies, bonito)
