Building a Tuna Spinning outfit

Hey Guys,

I've got a buddy that is interested in making a spinning rod for schoolie blue fin. Any one already have a spinning rod that they they use for this? He's a little lost as to where to start as far as tip action, length, and stiffness. Thanks for the pointers.
