Went looking for Bluefin 6/9

Headed out with John and Ray to look for some tuna started off looking 20 miles off and headed more east did not want to go out far but we ended up 65 off had to keep an eye on the weather,it was nice till noon made a lot off stops to look and jig, the guys wanted to jig only we had none stop action on big bluefish all day water was nice and clean 63-64 temp and lots of life whales and birds but did not mark any big clouds of sand eels but the bluefish were spitting them up great day on the water even no tuna

Thanks for the effort and report.  I have been wanting to get out there and try myself.  Got a business trip that takes me out of town until the end of Jun.  Sounds like that might be the right time to try.

Nice try Cap - we are gearing up and getting ready to go - may skip the bluefins and go straight for the deep depending on water and weeather.
