Had Sonny and Jeremey with me today. Break the inlet in search for bunker and striped ones. As soon as we turn port see about six dolphins...cool. We find bunker north. As we are snagging, TWO spotter planes are circling the area. Within 15 mins THREE bunker boats are heading in our direction.
Moved around but no bite. Decided to switch over to flatties. Came back south and hung around the inlet. See a pilot whale...cool. Jeremey gets a tug but no go. Move inside the inlet and drift the river. A few nibbles here and there but wasn't able to take home any meat.
SKUNKED was the word of the day.
