Friday night stratagy. . .
« on: June 10, 2010, 11:06:53 PM »
Okay lets hear what some of you will be doing on the surf this weekend starting with Friday.

Myself, I will be hitting the park around 6:00PM and hit my usual locations.  The high tide will be at 7:15 or very close to it. and with the sunset at 8:25 there will be plenty of time to get ready.  I will be testing "Crazy Alberto Knie"s" Theory out.  According to him the sweet time will be 3 hours past high tide.  I will be fishing all the time but the sweet time is about 10:15.  It will be interesting.  Give or take 20 minutes, this should be interesting.

Baits I will have on hand will be, clams, bunker and an assortment of plugs ready to go.  If you want to meet up give me a call on my cell: 732-684-0385.

I wish a friend on mine from Hawaii was here to give this a try, but he is stuck out in the state of Washington.  Eating his heart out, especially with the rains they are having out there now.  Alika, if you read this get your 'okole out here buddy.

I will probably be off the beach by 11:30 and home by 11:45.

Happy Catching

Paul

Duly noted, sir, clams and bunker it will be.   I am stopping at my buddy's house (he has never fished the surf before) around five, and hope to be set up on the beach by 6.  Probably Sea Girt, but maybe Point Pleasant.
I'll bring my box o'plugs and spoons, too - might be be a good idea to get him used to casting.  I'm letting him use my equipment to get him started.

Good luck everyone who is going out tonight!
