The beach was no picnic this morning either.  On by 5 off by 9.  I will post a report in the surf forum.  The wind was out of the SSW, snotty chop and it started to rain :P.  But the beach was empty strange for the 4th.

The weather forcast scares a lot of people Paul.  Same thing happens with the boaters.  NOAA calls for bad weather, people stay home.  Me, I go anyway and find out for myself.  Over fifty percent of the times they are wrong and the conditions are fishable.

I hear that.  I was up a 3:30 this morning and it was a beautiful night when we left for the beach around 4:30 you could see the front moving in the moon was covered already.  It was a fantastic sunrise I will post pics later in my Surf report.

Going out tomorrow and maybe Sunday in the early morning again.

I am redoing all my reels with braid with mono backing. this time.  Lost a nice lure because of the light mono.  never again I hope.

Happy Catching
