anyone fishing from the beach at sandy hook?

was wondering if anyone has been doing any fishing at any of the beaches at sandy hook? If so are the fluke biting from the beach?thinking of taking the kids on monday ,maybe dunk a lil bait..thanks.

Sorry, no.  I have not been up there in a long while.  But I will be in the area of the spy house next Thursday to see what happens.

stripers will be your best bet, off gunnison Beach..
Fish out of Toms River NJ.

gunnison huh?..lol..gotta remember alot of extra sunscreen..lol..noone is catching any fluke off of the beach?

the reason for Gunnison is... there is a huge clam bed a few hundred yards off the beach... perfect striper spot.
