Raritan Bay Fluking 6/18
« on: June 18, 2010, 03:55:48 PM »
out of Sayreville at 6 this morning with Salty Dogs fishing partner Ben,headed straight for the Reach, had a steady pick all morning, with Ben putting 5 in the box with the biggest at 22 inches, would 've had his limit but couldn't wait for the net.I was a non contributor today,I did catch fish but non for the box.Ken(Blood vessel)and wife Hon caught up with us in the Reach on there way in from the rocks ,where they were bottom fishing, they got some nice seabass, some big ling and 1 cod.passed some killies off to them and they hung around a little while trying for the flatties before going in.great day on the water.headed in around 1:30.going Sunday for a fathers day trip with son Brian(striper74)trying for the flatties.    Kez

Great report  t^
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

nice report...

I also tell my crew all the time.. The captain gets the credit for putting the crew on the fish, even if the captain doesn't catch any keeper.

I also throw at them.. it doesn't matter if the captain doesn't catch any keepers because the captain gets to keep 1/2 the boats catch anyway.  That usually shuts them up if they are busting my chops.
