took the kayak down to shark river last night to fish the top of the incoming tide. got there around 4:15 and let that front pass through and then headed out. wind layed down after a little while and started picking up some fish. beautiful evening out on the river only saw a handful of other boats coming in and going out. droped a few big fish between AP's inlet and the 35 bridge. I was using a bucktail tipped with gulp and some peanut bunker that we had left over from last season. ended with one 19inch keeper. probably would have had two but didnt know where the zero mark was on my new tape measure sticker. I was measuring the fish from the start of the tape where the zero was about two inches behind it... needed those two inches on all those 17 inch fish
