Left the marina with Kevin(kpcoe)noonish looking for bunker by the hook down past the nudies. saw none so headed deep for trolling stretches and umbrellas. Trolled up and down the 3 mile line . no bass . had birds working inshore and had some fun jigging racer blues. headed north and found bunker east of the candle sticks. no bass. Finally ran out to rockaway inlet area and marked the bass and did some drifts with chunks in structure. Had a bunch of good run offs but could not keep them hooked. Very wierd. One was a big one that I fought for 5 minutes before he spit it. Ended the night drifting through flynns with a few more run offs but no takers. May try again tomm evening and will trade the 8/0 circles for the big dogs.
