LBI area B&T shops?
« on: July 28, 2010, 10:21:37 AM »
I have recently relocated to Manahawkin and am not too familiar with the fishing scene down there, as I usually fish IBSP.  Can anyone recommend a good bait & tackle shop down in my area for when I do some more "local" fishing?

Actually it's Fisherman's Headquarters.  But, close enough.
And, if you make a left onto the boulevard, Surf City B&T is about 1/2 mile on the left side.  Up at the north end is Barnegat Light B&T as well.
If you head south you'll hit Jingles and a fairly new shop on the left side called Oceanside B&T.

Jason, if you're going to be in Manahawkin stop by and say hello.  I work over at the Dick's off of 72.  I'll see if I can dig up a coupon or two for you to save you a couple dollars. ;)

Good luck in the new digs!  t^

Thanks Bob.  I've been in that Dick's plenty of times!  Wish I would have known.  Just got my new rod over there last week and my EZ-up about 2 weeks ago.  Lots of good stuff in there.  I'll keep an eye out for you on my next trip.
