Striped Bass Lures
« on: March 06, 2007, 09:04:33 PM »
I usually surf fish for stripers with the exception of a trip here and there on a boat. Usually we fish with clams in the surf and have pretty good success. I really want to start catching these fish on lures..sure its different on a boat where you can locate them and catch them relatively easy with any type of metal lures that flash..Ive had success throwing a green bomber that was like 10" and it caught me my only striper off the beach with a lure which was a little 18" striper. Does anyone have any luck on certain types of lures..like do you notice any patterns in what they hit more often?
