TnT Flukes and Sharks...8-18-10

Fished today with good friends Orlando, Billy, and Danny Bananas...

bounced BT's from SHC to the Promised Land.... caught fish EVERY stop...MAD SHORTS.. Billy counted at least 90 fish caught between the 4 of us.... Boxed 20 nice keepers to 6.9 lbs...

Highlight of the day was a run-off i got... fish SCREAMED DRAG... fought the fish on my lite Chaos rod and Currado 300 for 50 minutes, with everyone taking a turn on the rod while i chased this thing down... was taking guesses, was it a big ray, a drum ???? Finally wore it down as we got a nice 5+ ft thresher shark to the side of the boat...had the bucktail snagged in its back right at the dorsal fin....No permit on board so line was cut and we all watched in amazment as it just circled the boat again and glided away... with none of us jackasses grabing a camera as i think we were all in shock.... what a blast that was

Nice ! Call it a boat limit,with the fishing time lost on the shark.
