Saturday we started out in Ambrose with the fleet and the action never really materialized. Picked a few fish there initially and then nothing. tried some drifts in the bay and picked away at a few more fish though mostly shorts. Had two drifts that were ok and a few fish did make their way into some coolers. Most had no keepers today, some with 1 and a handful with 2. Pool fish went 3.5lb.
Didn't get out on Saturday's Magic Hours trip due to low angler participation.
Sunday we were chartered and with Saturday's slow fishing we decided to head to some rougher bottom and see what would develop. Managed a pick of fluke and seabass. Better but still not all that good.
Sunday's Magic Hours trip had much better action overall, though only a few keepers.
