Boat Fire Today out by the Monster Ledge Area-UPDATED
« on: September 01, 2010, 07:13:21 PM »
I just received a voice mail message from a friend who called me with his fishing report of his trip out of Brielle today for a ling trip.
He said that they were near a boat on fire but didn't get call for assist as enough had already arrived. Said that they pulled 2 guys out of the water and that the boat burned down to the water line. Any one know more information. I am guessing from his message all were safe.

Worse thing on a boat is having a fire aboard. Even with all the water around, no way to readily douse the flames. Fiberglass goes up pretty quick too.  :P

Hope all are uninjured.
