Got out with BD Billy thinkin it may be the last fluke trip before the storm... hit some rock stuff and some lumps... slow to no drift.. a few shorts and 2 keeper fluke.... bored and tired of power drifting, decided to make a run to belmar to get a few dozen crabs and clams... again hit some local rock piles, and pounded the togs and sea bass... bite was outstanding of coarse....great fun catching and releasing some bruiser togs, we kept 2 of the SMALL ones for the table tonite..... ran out of bait.. so with the south wind starting up headed back to some fluking figuring we finally had a drift... picked up 5 more nice keeper flatties in 2 drifts then it just died and turned to a skatefest... headed to the barn after a super fun day.... hope the blow doesnt screw things up to bad....
