Hunter 2- Lake George 9/9 to 9/12/2010
« on: September 13, 2010, 09:30:14 AM »
My wife, daughter and I trailered the boat up on Thursday to do some boating and fishing and checking out the sights. Steve(Massbaster)joined us on friday. Steve and I caught smallmouth bass everyday on artificial Live Impact jigs and Gary Yamamoto worms. We caught fish in 12' to 60' of water. The water temp was 68 to 69 deg. The Smallies were between 7" and 15" in length. We tried jigging up some lake trout in 110' of water with no luck. I was told that the charter boats were catching Lake trout and Salmon on downriggers, trolling. We went to a cliff called Calfs Penn. The water is 160' deep at the edge. Steve and I jumped off a few times. I have to figure out how to post the videos?? :headscra:
A huge classic car show was also in the village and was cool to see.
  Good Luck!!,   Eddie

Nice Eddie, you had some action. Not much of temp drop between 12-60 ft at 68-69 degrees, sounds like the lake is cooling off.
