SeaBassin 9-14
« on: September 14, 2010, 04:37:46 PM »
Took the bride out on a 3/4 day cbass trip from brielle. Weather was beautiful, dolphins next to the boat on the way out. Fished about 4-5 miles off of Bay head. Caught 10 keepers and tons of shorts. Had a couple of chartreuse ghost shrimp so I cut one in half and used. First fish a 20" fluke which went right back in. Next were 2 keeper Cbass on the shrimp and in the box they went.  Observation today was, first drop at any site the keepers were caught immediately after about 10-15 minutes all fish observed being caught were shorts. Seems to be a pecking order down below. Anyway wife had 6 me 4. Pool fish was a 4# Trigger
Sorry no pics wife forgot camera. grtn

Nice day on the water.  t^ 'They' do say that the bigger sea bass will push off the smaller ones and get to the bait first. The fools.  ;D
