IBSP 9-22-10
« on: September 23, 2010, 09:00:33 AM »
Wifey and I got on the beach around 8:15pm with the high tide at 8:34pm.  Wind was steady out of the SSW.  Fished about 300 yards South of A-7 as there looked to be a little cut in the bar.  Managed to pull 2 blues and a dogfish on a mullet rig in the hour and a half I spent on the sand, after being chased off by the lightning headed our way.  Probably needed 8 to hold, but I was happy with the little drift the 6's were giving me.  Only had 5 casts, so 3 fish ain't too bad in the short time out there.  Still got plenty of bait left, so I might try LBI surf tonight.

A month old fishing report?  :headscra:

I'd stay away from the surf city area, apparently it got hit hard last night.

Good outing Jason. And things will only get better as the weather cools.  t^
