Trollin for bass around the Hook
« on: September 24, 2010, 10:04:39 AM »
Too nice a day not to fish yesterday.  Headed out between the channels and decided to put out the umbrella rigs and try for bass. Once the outgoing tide started to move, rods were going off.  Had a fair amount of blues and some stripers.  Ended up with 2 keeper bass, tossed back 3 shorts.  Even managed to toll up a nice seabass.  Loads of rain fish on the surface.  Unfortunately, didn't see any albies..  Beautiful day on the water!

Welcome to the site, cant wait for the bass to kick in high gear.
Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
