just wondering whats included with this trip and what do i need to bring?

What's included is a spot at the rail and green crabs for bait.  I'm pretty sure Mike has rods available if you need to rent one.  You may also want to bring some snelled 4/0 or 5/0 Octopus hooks, 6-12 oz sinkers and a couple of 4 oz. diamond jigs (in case we run into some stripers).

Other than that, dress warmly, bring your lunch and don't forget to have some cash for the pool and the RFA/SSFFF raffle. t^

Tim, just snell up some 3/0-5/0 gama octopus hooks on 12" 40-60# leader. I can show you how to attach them to your line when we are on the boat. Very simple rig. Not hardware, less snags.  t^

Thank you Sir!!  Like I said I think I got the Snell right...Bob told me to goto animatedknots.com.  I followed that but just not 100% until someone of your expertise or Bob's...or Mike's or anyone else that knows how to do it...looks at it....you have to remember who your dealing with here...a rookie that spent the last three years in Colorado catching trout!!! Before that I was catching striper's out of the river in Harrisburg and Walleye!! Thanks for all the help!!  I'm out of deer sticks though!!  My boy ate them all!!

Tim,

I have about a 1/2 dozen snafu rigs tied up.  But I mostly stick with a single hook set up.  Don't get overwhelmed with all the info.  When in doubt K.I.S.S. :-*
