Funny is how most guys fight for the bow or the stern to fish from clp But one thing I learned last year is where the TRANSDUCER is and that is where the Capt. is seeing the bottom  ;) ;D

It gets awful cold Skip when you get that wet looking for the transducer.  Especially in the late fall early winter.  nosmly fcp

Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY EARLY THIS MORNING WILL BUILD TO THE EAST AND IT SHOULD INFLUENCE OUR REGION INTO SATURDAY. A COLD FRONT FROM THE NORTHWEST IS FORECAST TO ARRIVE LATE ON SATURDAY WITH ANOTHER AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE FOLLOWING FOR SUNDAY AND FOR THE EARLY PART OF THE NEW WEEK.

I'll be sporting 6 to 12oz sinkers tomorrow. Sometimes fishing heavier than ya need helps.  Remember to try different crabs to see what they want too.  Whole, halves, legs on or off, different colors.  The tog will tell you what they want. Jiggle the crab not the sinker ;)

If fishing braid, keep some slack in the line, if rough and fishing too tight with a scratchy bite, you won't get them to commit.

Have been speaking with Capt.Mike ( owner) and he feels the right thing to do is call the trip.   "Tog fishing in over 20 knots just doesn't produce and doesn't make for a very enjoyable productive trip ".

So yea...   It's a no go for Sat.    fcp

(EDIT) Will see if we can find another date. Mike will let me know this evening
