Funny is how most guys fight for the bow or the stern to fish from clp But one thing I learned last year is where the TRANSDUCER is and that is where the Capt. is seeing the bottom  ;) ;D

Those conditions makes it a little tougher to hold those crabs still on the bottom  :P

Ixnay on the Eatherway talk smk

You know why it's like this right?  Cause I have a charter booked as well fcp

got jinx?

Should be fine though.  Hope we both do well. chrz

I'll be sporting 6 to 12oz sinkers tomorrow. Sometimes fishing heavier than ya need helps.  Remember to try different crabs to see what they want too.  Whole, halves, legs on or off, different colors.  The tog will tell you what they want. Jiggle the crab not the sinker ;)

If fishing braid, keep some slack in the line, if rough and fishing too tight with a scratchy bite, you won't get them to commit.

Have been speaking with Capt.Mike ( owner) and he feels the right thing to do is call the trip.   "Tog fishing in over 20 knots just doesn't produce and doesn't make for a very enjoyable productive trip ".

So yea...   It's a no go for Sat.    fcp

(EDIT) Will see if we can find another date. Mike will let me know this evening
