Tried the troll 10/9
« on: October 10, 2010, 07:45:07 AM »
Left the dock around noon with a outgoing tide. Put the Stretch 25’s in the water at the #1 can by the Coast Guard station and pulled them around the hook. Out to the candle sticks and back to the beach and then down the beach. Worked our way down the Sandy Hook channel, turned around and headed north and picked up one short on the edge of the channel around the #3 buoy.  Headed back in around 4pm and called it a day. Very nice day on the water after we turned the corner and made it outside.
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

Yep! it was her  rgmn She said to me that that rod was acting funny, I told her that there was a small fish on it and she pulled it in.
On a side note: don't ever tell my wife that you are looking for birds. She pointed out every bird to me all day long  rgmn even the one that was just sitting in the water. But I still did not throw her in.  fcp
