10/10/2010 - Season ender
« on: October 10, 2010, 04:00:14 PM »
Got to the boat at KMB with my brother in law Dave and could not get started due to weak btteries. Took a look and found one batterey had a terminal completely melted and smelled electrical smoke...no fishing today and no fall season for me.

Plan b was to head down to PP and fish from shore. We had sandworms and eels. Went to the inlet first and fished a sandwrom and gulp on a jighead. The current and boat traffic was unreal. Had something on (probably a fluke) but lost it. Fished there about an hour then picked up some crabs and headed to the canal.

Got to my usual spot and found a chain link fence blocking it off. Found a spot at fished for a while and got skunked.

...not a very good day.
