Small Bass - No Keepers 10/11/10

Headed out this morning in search of keeper bass since I got skunked on Friday and landed only 1 yesterday.  Tide was outgoing and bait was everywhere as I trolled in between the channels.  Was hoping it wasn't going to be as crowded like it was on Sunday and at first light it was looking good. Trolled tubes for hours without a hit.  As the tide changed, the fleet moved in and it was like Sunday all over again.  The bite was on, but all we managed to get were short bass and a couple of albies.  A bunch of my fellow fishermen did manage to put keeper bass in the box.  Happy for them..   Headed home to watch the Devils lose....    tomorrow' another day..   5hrug
