Their Baaaaaack.
« on: October 11, 2010, 11:09:49 PM »
It seems like the fish are back close to shore to start to pick some nice fish.  To bad most of them are cocktail and taylor blues with some small stripers mixed in.  Oh and by the way the fluke are hitting pretty good as well.  Go figure.

All the usual baits are working once again.  Clams, mullet, AVA's and Deadly Dicks with teasers.

I hope to get out tomorrow if this weather passes.

Happy Catching

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.

I went out yesterday and couldn't get them to bite.  Read reports from a shop saying consistent blues at the Judge's Shack at the time I was there.  Funny though, I didn't see one fish pulled up.

Well nothing but shad today.  The surf was flat as a pancake.  No signs of bunker or any bait fish for that matter.  Stopped in at Grumpys and checked the book this morning NADA.  I knew I was in trouble.

So I just chalked it up to testing out some new teaser patterns.  Some of the regulars liked them but I guess tha fish had other thought's (if there were any fish out there today).

Oh well better luck tomorrow.

Happy Catching
