Every time I see your work I am blown away by the artistry.  Maybe this year I will have something to mount instead of my paintings.

Yo taxidermy guy, I mess around with forms also but wanted to find a glass striper form with fins for my next project. Do you have any seconds laying around the shop. I wouldnt care if its beat up as I am going to cover it with glass. See below;

no im not looking for a manequin for a skin mount. Im looking for a fibeglass form with fins. Big difference in price. A fiberglass form for a 38 bass runs over $200. A polyurethane  manequin has no head or fins and sells for $20. Im covering it with stained glass so I have no head or fins I need them already on the form.

I am hoping to get something mountable this season.  Do you need the actual fish?  Is not, would you still mount the actual fish.  I am assuming there are a few different ways to mount.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.
