10/24 Day Troll
« on: October 25, 2010, 12:43:03 PM »
Christine and I left the slip around 1pm. Nice day; got out to the Hook, looked around for marks, birds, anybody catchin', nothing. Forgot my phone, so couldn't make any intel calls- tried raising some peeps old skool on da VHF but you know....

Put out the swimmers and trolled down the beach, still not seeing much. Lots of guys surf fishin' on SH. Got down just north of the Rocks and spun around, about 1.5 mi off for the return trip. Had a knockdown on the Polish Shad but came loose along with the plug. Chompers!

Trolled back up to the tip and then some, not marking much at all; pulled the plugs in and hightailed it back. Sounds like the bite was south and east of us. Nice boat ride AND kept the skunk streak going... oh yeah we'll get them Weds. night.

YSA prolly coming home next weekend.
