Headed out to the bottom grounds for a day of seabass fishing. Eric In pursuit, Jim, Pete, Joe, Bruce, and Wilson rounded out todays crew.
Bit breezy when we headed out... started inshore where we had good seabass life on sat... shallow water... got setup and had lock n load action with some real nice size fish...almost no shorts at all... Pounded 75 Nice Keepers and some Blackfish shorts and a couple keepers.
Action slowed up... headed to the next couple spots that had good life a few days ago and not much there... Picked at a couple some keeper seabass here n there and a couple Porgies.
First 1/2 of the box came easy second half we worked for.
Ocean laid down and we finished up hitting a couple of spots offshore... Tons of life but way more shorts... weeded thru them for the last 50 Keepers for a Limit!!!
We also captured the greedy Culprit who ate a few of our seabass in half. Big Blue still had them hangin from his mouth
Looked for some bird life on the way in but never seen nothing good.
By days the guys boxed up 150 Keeper Seabass, 4 Keeper Blackfish, a handful of porgies and a blue!!!
