I'm BACK after some Mechanical work

I posted this in the Mechanical Forum:
My Cervical Spine sugery went well. Doctors removed two Disc,Bone fragments,etc.and then installed two additional Donor bones( I hope the donor was  a fisherman) and then installed a Tietanium plate with  bolts and screws.I'm plenty sore but will bounce back just in time  for the second storm and additional surgery on the lower spine.With the Grace of God...
 I Hope to be ready for the Spring Run.

Wow Aj I have dealt with back aches in the past and use a bone cracker often, but all that sounds like it would be hell. Good luck with the healing and the next round. Have a good Thanksgiving

Hey, please keep us updated on your progress.  I had the surgery from the back of my neck where they shaved 2 discs and bone spurs down, but the docs say I still need to have them removed like you did.  How is your range of motion, pain, etc..??

Nice to hear your doing  well AJ, Wife hade same surgery couple of times hope yours works out for you. Was wondering what happen to you this year did not see you down the marina.

AJ, thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes.  The same right back to you and your family.  Hang in there guy and use your drugs wisely.  That was the only thing that got me through my 2 hip operations.  And ,oh yeah, the dreaded PT.  Which I think was worse than the operation it self.

Presently taking Morphine and Valium so I dont feel much pain.Been on some "long strange fishing trips in the sky" . I can tell you one thing I am catching a lot of big fish on  my trips!!!!!! Longitude and Latitude numbers: some where between Jupiter and Mars 
Too soon to tell about range of motion.
I miss the water...

Get well soon, I had mine done about 3 years ago at Penna Hosp. In Phil. Worked out well. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there. Watch out for that  Oxi Codin

I couldn't imagine.  I am tentatively scheduled to get the discs removed in February, but I'm likely going to put it off for another year.  I'm glad you're doing well and wish you a speedy recovery!!

Thankyou, Its been a slow and steady recovery.
There are so many things I want to do inside and outside. But for right now,just sitting up and standing or short 15 minute walks.
Maybe next week I'll start on my tackle repair and replacing stuff.
Don't want to be on the meds.too long.
Its best to tuff it out....
