Looking for a foul weather top- Help
« on: December 03, 2010, 11:11:20 AM »
I'm making up my Christmas present list and need a foul weather top. I already have a pair of Aquaskinz bibs and like them so I'm looking at the AquaSkinz Nor'Easter foul weather top. Price is high $252.00, Does anyone own this top or have any recommendations on other good tops??
Thanks, Eddie

Looks Good, but won't it clash with the Coach Bag? cfzd rgmn

Aqua Skins are good stuff.....I only use Grundens need the heavier wieght and toughness

my Field and Stream top came with matching pants and was on sale for $80.00 at Bucktail'sImeanDick's. I like it and it works well. I took the $172.00 extra that I didn't spend on it and bought a halfatank of gasohol for Ya Sista's A$$.

Not familiar with that exact model but have their bibs, a Hurricane top and T sports the bibs and Rampage top as well.  Great quality and durability on those two tops.  Not for warm weather though as they are very, very warm. Great for late Fall and winter.  My Hurricane top is around 10+ years old.

Bibs are much warmer than the Grunden's Hercules version.  Zipper is a great plus as well.  No durability issues yet for the last few years of use.

Haven't been let down with any of their products.

Have Grundens and Healys both served me well over the years. I like the full zip ups, and 1/2 zip pull overs, so I can open em up and let some air in to cool off.

Hey A.J,  I like the full zip ups too. I dont like restricted or tight fitting clothing. Im gonna keep looking around for something less exspensive. I would only be wearing the top a few times a year.

I was going to recommend one of the best dry tops around which is by Guy Cotten (Rubber gaskets and the whole nine yards). They kick Simms and Aquaskins asses barnone! But, Eddie, if only using a few times a year don't even bother with the three brands listed here...go cheaper.
