Bottom Paint for Transducers and thru-hull fittings

What type of bottom paint is best for a thru-hull transducer? Also---do you guys use bottom paint on other trpes of brass thru-hulls like a bait-well pick up? Thanks for the advise in advance.

Use A specific Transducer paint on the Transducer, like Petyit

You got it. On underwater thru-hulls, I use Interlux Tri-Lux. Its made for underwater metals.

You got it. On underwater thru-hulls, I use Interlux Tri-Lux. Its made for underwater metals.

I believe that is the key. You have to make sure of the type metal that you are painting and that the paint you are using is compatable? with it. Different metals clash in the salt water environment.

I also use the Interlux Tri-Lux on the metal and transducer paint for the transducers.  t^
