Headed out for another one of our scheduled Flounder trips. 4 Person crew as we had a couple of late cancellations. Andy, Ralphy, Suzanne, and sophomore Bob rounded out todays crew.
Up to the bay we went...Was worried with all the rain but the flounder didnt seem to mind. First drop just a couple fish, made a move next another 7 but it petered out.
Made another drop and the outgoing water started to move and the started to chew a bit...Water was up over 50 deg... had some real nice fish some of the best size of the year. Ralphy had one at 2lbs 140z and then Bob had a real beauty 18 1/2 in 3lb 20z fatty. Also had 2 more over 2lbs We Picked 26 flounder from this spot.
Congrats to Bob who was high hook with 15 flounder only taking his limit
Caught a Total of 38 Flounder Including One over 3Lbs 3 more over 2lbs Kept a boat limit and released the rest for another day. All the fish we kept were over 14 in.
Weather was gorgeous real nice day with a fun crew.
